From Eggum’s small fishing harbor, you’ll paddle a double kayak between tiny islands on the open ocean. Guides such as Lucio, Israel, and Santi provide calm instruction, local stories, and photos, with a tea and snack stop on an island. No previous kayaking experience is needed.

Meet at Eggum Harbour at 10pm for a three-hour double-kayak trip along the coast and nearby islands. Guides such as Lucio, Israel, Santiago, and Jules provide safety help, local stories, photos, tea, and snacks. No kayaking experience is required, but bring warm waterproof layers for changing weather.

Ride from Tromsø to Sommarøy through fjords, mountain valleys, and coastal viewpoints with an English-speaking driver. Expect several photo stops, a possible warm local meal, and guide-taken photos shared online. Evening departures from late May to mid-July may catch the midnight sun or a softer night-sun glow.

Meet near Scandic Ishavshotel and drive west from Tromsø to a weather-suitable trail on Kvaløya or nearby fjord country. Expect a moderate 3-hour hike, wide views, wildlife and berries when available, plus homemade food, hot drinks, hiking poles, and photos by email. Guides may include Anthony, Ellie, Jeffrey, or Evgeni.

Set out from Henningsvær at 9 p.m. in a large RIB with a local English or Norwegian-speaking skipper. You’ll pass narrow straits toward the open sea, where low Midnight Sun light reveals sea eagles, seals, puffins and, with luck, whales. Dry suits, life vests and gloves are provided.

Ride from Hov Gård across Gimsøya during the endless golden light of the midnight sun. Your English-speaking guide teaches you the basics before you leave, then leads a small group toward Hovsund, past a fish-drying rack and old Viking settlement sites, before returning along an Arctic beach. No riding experience is needed.

Leave Tromsø for an easy evening hike into the countryside with an English-speaking Wandering Owl guide. Walk a small mountain in the Arctic summer light, enjoy fjord and peak views, and learn about local plants and animals. The four-hour outing includes a sandwich, hiking gear, photos by email, and return to the meeting point.
Join a private 3.5-hour cruise from Svolvær aboard the ice-class S/Y Stella Oceana. You’ll sail the Vestfjord at 5:30 pm, passing Skrova and Litlmolla when conditions and the captain’s route allow. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, cookies, and a restroom are included.

Join a local guide such as Alexandra or John for a small-group evening hike in Tyresta National Park. Walk easy forest trails, visit an old village, share Swedish fika, and cook a vegan or vegetarian meal over a fire beside a lake. Private transport from central Stockholm, coffee, tea, snacks, and dinner are included.

Join Lofoten Lights for a four-hour evening photo trip from Svolvær. A professional photographer drives a small group of up to eight people to selected beaches, mountain viewpoints, and fishing villages, helping beginners and experienced photographers work with the soft light of the midnight sun.
